A Life-Changing Trainer – Truly the Best!

I have a 15-month-old black German Shepherd (37kg), and after being disappointed with a previous trainer during the basic training phase, I was feeling overwhelmed. My dog was acting out — he wouldn’t respond to basic commands like “come” or “stay,” and walks had become a nightmare. He would pull aggressively on the leash, and if he saw another dog or cat, I had to use all my strength to hold him back. If I wasn’t careful, he could have easily thrown me to the ground.

That’s when Theologos came into the picture.

His confidence, calmness, and positive energy were immediately reassuring. He promised me that everything could be corrected through positive reinforcement training — using food as motivation, and without any form of harm or intimidation. And he was absolutely right.

He did an amazing job transforming Dias 360°. The change was beyond anything I could imagine. But it wasn’t just about obedience — he truly cared for my dog. When he noticed something wrong with Dias' ears, he even took the initiative to bring him to our vet to be examined. That meant the world to me.

Today, Dias is a completely different dog. He listens, he respects boundaries, and more importantly, we’ve built a strong bond. I also have a Belgian Shepherd Groenendael, and now I can take both dogs on walks together, calmly and confidently — something I never thought would be possible.

Akis is a very experienced dog trainer and a serious professional.
Hera had a problem with her uncontrollable barking and walking.

We came into contact with Akis in immediate need of his help and he was there from the first moment. At first, he very easily achieved something that we thought was impossible, getting Argos to enter and stay in the crate, and that was only the beginning of what he/we learned! Very patient and persistent and interested in the intermediation of behavior and progress! He taught us a lot about our own dog's behavior and not in general. We recommend him unreservedly and thank him for teaching us how to understand our dog's needs and how to set limits for sure!

Simply excellent!
Humane, honest without patting ears but without being rude, patient and persistent and all around explaining what to do the "why" but also the "how". Very important that he is a trainer without "canned" programs but programs adapted to the needs of the guardian in relation to the character of the dog which adapts accordingly to the development of the training.
Akis has both knowledge and experience, but he is not an impersonal instructor who stops working with you when the lesson is over. Lots of phone calls, texts for help at odd hours.
However, keep in mind that training is 70% guardian and 30% dog and for this the interpersonal relationship is of capital importance.
And since I have seen several "trainers", I wholeheartedly recommend Akis.

Our Claudine is a half-breed cocoon of 5 months and we are a family of 4 who had no idea about dogs.
We trusted Akis when Claudine was about 3 months old and he was the wisest choice!

Akis in education is calm, cool, honest and kind. He has a lot of patience with the dogs and with us too!
He will tell things as they are, he doesn't embellish situations or stress us out.
He explains and directs according to our own temperament, he has a lot of knowledge about the dog and shares it generously, and he shows a lot of interest in how we are and how we do with our puppy outside of training.
Only in "good luck" is he a bit sparing :)!!

For me, the biggest proof that Akis is doing an excellent job is Claudine's joy when she sees him, but also that I am calmer and more confident than our little dog!

Roxy came to our family 5 months ago. He was a 14-month-old stray who had been in a shelter for quite some time and had already changed families once. Akis made a significant contribution to making living with our dog comfortable and pleasant. Our cooperation was perfect.. He dealt with our concerns with understanding and gave advice for every problem that arose, always with love and genuine concern for the dog. Every time Roxy saw him she looked so happy, she was jumping for joy and wagging her tail like never before!

Akis!!!
What can one say about this kid.
Modest, calm, kind and an excellent professional.
I met him just 4 months ago, when he undertook to make my life easier, train and correct the behavior of 4-year-old Nero. A half-breed, since he closed time, due to our ignorance and mistakes, had made our lives unbearable!!
He barked non-stop, even at the fly that flew and "pulled" on the walk, as if there was no tomorrow. Unpredictable in his behavior, sometimes friendly and sometimes hostile and aggressive with other animals and people. He displayed aggressive behavior even among family members.
In less than 15 lessons, he transformed Nero, into a quiet, obedient dog, that I have forgotten his barking and that you are happy to go and enjoy the walk with him.
He has given us the knowledge and supplies to continue the excellent work he has been doing, and is always willing to help us with anything we need.
Thank you Aki. Be well always and keep up the great work you are doing.

We also got a little half-breed puppy 3 months ago.. a scared baby from a shelter, who was so scared and even though the animal lovers who found him took care of him as much as they could, he looked very stressed and scared.. Akis helped us from the very first lesson to show Moby the way to find his self-confidence and take steps in his personality that at first seemed like a mountain that he would do!! Thank you very much for everything Akis! We know that every time we send you and for our slightest question you will solve it for us in as much detail as possible!! Akis is an amazing trainer with a lot of knowledge, many training methods and understands from the first moment the character of each dog. After 2 failed training attempts from other trainers and completely disappointed, I met Akis from the first two lessons, my dog, a special cane corso character, changed rapidly both in his behavior at home and on the street (which I did not dare to take him for a walk because he used to be the bad guy) now he's a gentleman

Akis did a specialized training for my dog. He worked methodically and explained to me the reasons for each exercise. My dog a border collie followed his commands reverently which I could not do. Akis was so knowledgeable about dogs and their psychology, and he helped me to fix my dog's behaviour. She was aggressive with other dogs (out of fear) and he taught me how to calm her and correct the behaviour. He also helped with general obedience. Akis was thoughtful, kind and flexible, and I would recommend him to everyone.
